In the historic Lutz Mansion, an Arts and Crafts style residence, the Stutsman County Memorial Museum houses a wealth of antiques and other memorabilia that celebrate the lifestyles of the area's early settlers. Admission is free and the site is open from late May through the end of September. The museum also hosts front porch chats throughout the summer season.

This historic house features beautiful woodwork and stained glass, but equally interesting is the remarkable collection of local memorabilia. The materials tell the story of the community. The displays are wonderful, and well described, but it was very stuffy in the museum, as it was a HOT day, and there is no air-conditioning!

As far as museums go this one is pretty nice. Lots of antiques to look at and the Mansion that the museum is in is lovely. I for one enjoy museums and this one is worth the look-see.
