The museum is small but very informative about buffalo - where they came from, what happened to them, the efforts to bring them back, etc.

As we walked down the drive, my son spotted a buffalo and then we saw Dakota Miracle standing in the pasture alone. Yes, you have to pay a fee ($8 adults, $6 older kids and seniors) to get in to the museum part. It also...More

I knew the story of the bisons in North America and had seen exhibits on it before in other places. This museum is much more than a presentation of the depressing facts. It has succeeded in presenting the story of the bisons in a new...More

I have gone to Yellowstone and other areas with buffalo. But the museum had more facts about the history and slaughter. I learned quite a bit. It is small but worth a quick visit

Our family stops every time we are in town-Summer or Winter! Our daughter absolutely loves to see the giant buffalo.

This museum is a pretty interesting place. With an old western style town next to it, and the World's Largest Buffalo on a hill in the back, it certainly has its own charm. Sadly, we visited in the late fall when nothing much was happening,...More

It's an older, dated museum, but if you'd like to know more about the American Buffalo, there's some interesting information. It's a self guided tour with a 17 minute video. All the live buffalo were hiding in bushes (which I would be too because it's...More

Big Buffalo. Easy to get to and take pictures of the view. Nice to stretch the legs here. We were here the last week of the season. All the workers were very helpful.
