Pleasant walk along the canyon ending at a waterfall. Multiple bridges over canyon improve the viewing opportunity. The rock really does look like marble in some places. Interesting to learn about how the area was transformed by forest fire in 2003. Or was it 2004?...More

We loved this little walk. The views were beautiful. Not overly crowed which is surprisingly. This area was one of our favorites. Be sure to drive down the street and check out the paint pots while in the area.

Nice short walk with a view of the canyon, blue waters and surrounding peaks, definitely worth checking out during a short stop.

This place is one of the stops you should include on a multi day trip to the Rockies. If you're only here for a day, maybe skip it in favour of Banff, Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise, Columbia Icefields and Takakkaw Falls.

This is easy to find on Highway 93...35 minutes and 48km from Banff. The trail starts at the carpark and winds around the canyon. You can do it in half an hour.Lots of photo spots. If your lucky like me you might see Ice-Wall climbers there.

This place is a must if you are in Kootenay. The "hike" isn't very long and you get to cross some very fun/high bridges across the canyon. We loved this area!

We were on the way to Johnston canyon, but the guy at the parks info centre told us it was closed and recommended we go here. Never even heard of this place before! Definitely worth to check out. You can walk around and it doesn't...More

Joann was the most accommodating guide taking us up the canyon, across bridges, and making maple taffy in the snow. She finished our tour with a snowshoe race with a group of sixties racing like ten year olds. Great job,Joann and Banff Tours!

Sorry, I don't have the GPS location handy but the Trip Advisor mapping function and having your phone's location services function turned on will take you there!
