Serendipity Winery is a small, family-run winery nestled in the pristine hills of Naramata. We just opened in June 2011, and have already won 16 awards for our wines (as of July 2012). We specialize in quality, hand-crafted wines with a rich, full-bodied flavour. Our tasting room has a relax, laid back feel – we try to let every visitor have a unique experience. Join us in our wine shop for tastings daily from 10-5.

Great wines, look forward to their new tasting room

We stopped at Serendipity as the name appealed to us. The current tasting room is temporary in nature but don't let that deter you, you are there for the wine. Their Pinot Noir is beautiful. But we were captivated by the Reserve Serenata. This blend shows wonderful flavours and stunning complexity. They seem to change up what they sample but... More

Judy provides beautiful wines and pairings (from her chef knowledge) that is pretty unique. The story of how her wines were named is a good tale if you have the pleasure of her sitting down while having your tasting. I usually don't join wine clubs as I like to choose what wine I can purchase. I can say that I... More

We visited this winery on a rather dull day and had a similar reception. The mature lady behind the counter was not exactly welcoming. The shop is like someones kitchen and seems to be a put off in the areas you would feel comfortable to walk. The wines are acceptable and the better one is their Pinot Noir. Upon our... More

We have spent a fair bit of time around the wine industry. We rarely go to big events anymore. We seek the the real deal, with the people who are actually making it work, day by day. Judy is the real deal. She hand crafts her wines specifically for pairing with foods and does a wonderful job. This is a... More

Judy offers a wonderful flight of food wine at reasonable prices. The whites go well with both food and on their own. The reds are true to their grapes but have a strength and mellowness that delights!

The look of the winery turns you off right away which is a shame as the wine has an original taste to it. When we first turned into the winery we thought we had entered into the back way and continued to drive past the winery. The women working the tasting room came out and waived us back. It seemed... Since we were having such a good time down the road at Therapy winery, we thought we'd try Serendipity - what a pity. Honestly the entrance was overgrown, the fields we're too and the approach was ugly. So we went in and the attendant with purple hair was uninformed and short on patience. We just tried a few and left.... More

I had heard this place was was good. But had never been here until today. So, on our day to do the Naramata Bench wineries we.finally got to this one towards the end our our day. I would say we saved the best for last, as this winery was outstanding. The Pinot Noir is fantastic. I could have bought a... More

My husband and I were there 3 years ago and again this summer. The wine is my favorite, the mother/daughter team makes me smile and the logo/story is inspiring. I would recommend checking out this "dug-into-the-hillside" winery for sure.

The owner was really friendly and funny. The service was great, but quite honestly some of the worst wine we had all tasted (4 of us). We all politely sampled most of the 9 different offerings (quite a few!), but when we returned to the car there was an awkward silence until we started to critique the wine. It tasted... More
