We stopped in with our three kids. Primarily volunteer run, someone was happy to show us around. The kids enjoyed looking at the fish in the large tanks and feeding them. Fall would be a good time to visit (spawning) but we enjoyed the path...More

Chapman creek walkabout the day before so stopped in to see the hatchery. Very informative young man walked us through the various stages, very passionatec about his work, enjoyed our visit, small facility, but making a difference, which matters.

We walked to Chapman Falls and found it to be a very enjoyable hike. The trail passes several vehicles that are rotting in the forest, under the power lines and finally to the falls. The water from Chapman Creek is used as a water supply...More

Very interesting. Lots of good work being carried out by dedicated volunteers. Interesting to see the hatching tanks and also see the returning salmon during spawning season. Worth a visit.
