What a remarkable spot! Take the picnic route, and you can either drive, or walk along the seashore or the two ponds. There are blinds, and lots of trails. This is a great spot to see many species.

We were luck enough to be in town for the 150th Canada Day Fireworks. They were on the beach, with a nice fire, and it was a lovely time.

We visited on a beautiful day and no one was there. Usually that would be a great time to enjoy a spot, but this area had little to offer. The road was filled with potholes and the grassy areas unkept. Nothing special.

There are several trails but nothing more. The trail is easy to do. There is a camp ground. You are not able to walk along the water.

This is a really nice campground. It's a short walk to the beach. As you walk down the path to the beach you can enjoy some blackberries from the patch.

Anchorage Provincial Park gives you access to a lovely section of Grand Manan. It includes a camping area (we did not visit) some picnic areas (one was being used by a family reunion type event) and lots and lots of room to walk the coast....More
