Discover The People of the TidesCanada's 11th Prime Minister, R.B. Bennett, came from Albert County, along with a colorful procession of pioneers, artisans, explorers, shipbuilders, farmers, a few charlatans and one convicted axe murderer.If these walls could talk… and they do! Experience the Gaol cells where you are surrounded by the recently uncovered prisoner graffiti that makes every nook and cranny come alive. Layer upon layer of names, dates, drawings and poetry tell the story of what it was like to do time in the Albert County Gaol. Review the evidence from the Tom Collins trials and decide for yourself if justice was served.The Albert County Museum is a complex of eight buildings on a 6 acre site that includes original Shiretown buildings in their original locations.Explore through the twenty-two themed galleries of the museum and discover the captivating and thought-provoking stories of life in Albert County.

Great place to spend some time in between tide watching at the rocks. Good deal....half price with rocks admission. Great restorations and informative
