The combination of the guided tour with the guide's expert commentary, and the reconstructed buildings with their authentically-clad, working inhabitants, gives visitors a look back at life as it may have been in the age of the Vikings. Well presented. No admission fee.

Visit here to experience when mankind finally came 'full circle' on the earth. Beautiful area with good tour guides and reenactment of life in 1,000 AD. Hike the trails for unforgettable views. Maybe you will see Labrador on a clear day.

I had been wanting to visit this historic place since I had first heard about it. We went for Canada's 150th Birthday and it did not disappoint. Well worth the drive.

I think the tour was about 45 min after we had watched the movie inside and looked around inside. It was a guided tour and I'm not sure how often they go. We felt it was more educational with guide. You could still walk it... More
