This is a spectacular part of the world. Roads are freshly paved, washroom facilities are plentiful and the info centre is great. Park literature is helpful and the staff is knowledgeable. Trails are litter free and well marked. Well worth the UNESCO site designation.

We have traveled to Gros Morne a number of times and it never fails to please us. Western Brook Pond is a must. Trout River is nice with a great restaurant on the waterfront.

Huge park, lots to see and do. Several hiking trail with different difficulty level. Since it is closed to the coast, it can get really foggy. Amazing place to visit, and be one with nature.

We were the second group out in June. Lots, and I mean no shortage of, water and there was snow pretty much the whole way.
