I enjoyed my stay at the Old Shipyard Beach Campground. Noreen and Bob Kimber were extremely hospitable. We enjoyed our bond fire and lobster on the beach after a long day of beach combing. Thank you Bob and Noreen. We will be back next year. Store up the street, restaurant across the street and plenty of site seeing activities.

Quaint little beach with camping park and restaurant. Has a gift shop near by as well as a lighthouse. Home of The Mary Celeste. Very interesting area.

Special sites right on the edge of the water at high tide. Beautiful view of the Bay of Funday. Fascinating to watch the 40' tide change. Renovated Lighthouse/Museum very interesting and well-done. Bobby and Noreen delightful and knowledgeable hosts. So glad we went there first!

Easy access, right on the water. Swimming, wading, tides, wildlife, climb the lighthouse, stores. I want to come back and camp here

Beautiful views:) great walk with dogs. Would be hard to access with wheelchair. Has a few Geo Cash's. Easy finds! Would be a great place for repelling but is not equipped.

What a nice spot to go for a walk on the beach if you are in that area. It seems like a friendly group of campers who have their trailers parked. The beach itself is stone/gravel one but it is easy to walk on. Bring some chairs and a few blankets if you plan on staying for a few hours.... More

It was very nice to come back to Spencer's Island after many years. The Island's restaurant and campgrounds have been restored and there are cabins (1 or 2 room accommodations).available for rental. Plenty of space for either trailers, tent trailers or tents. Beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy as well as a Lighthouse Museum.

We spent the 3 days here. What great spot. The staff are excellent and very eager to please you. Great views. You are right on the waters edge! There is a restaurant next to the park, but apparently not open on Mondays which is weird during the summertime. Can't wait to go back.

I really don't want to tell you about Spencer's Island! It was my father's birthplace and where his one remaining brother still lives. They have T.H.E. Best deep fried clam strips and one of the few places in the world where orange pineapple ice cream tastes like it should! The scenery is magnificent, and the tides are, of course, the... More

I found this campground at the last minute two years ago when we were doing a tour of the maritimes and needed a place to camp out one night. Since then, have returned twice and it is still our favourite campground. Not only are the owners extremely nice and accommodating, the view is impeccable! I recommend the nachos from the... More
