Good little hike to a waterfall, with potential river loop if open.

Given a torn ligament in my foot, I've been unable to do much hiking. Thankfully this trail isn't arduous or lengthy and I managed to enjoy it with relatively no pain. There are roots and rocks to navigate throughout but it is mainly flat terrain...More

We decided to walk this small trail having been hiking across Cape Breton for the previous 3 days in the National Park whilst staying in Baddeck, easy to find though you could be confused with the entrance to the camping ground which is around 200...More

My wife found the info on the falls and we set out from Baddeck - not too far but the last few kilometres were on a gravel road. The trail was well marked and a bit wet but easily walked. The falls were beautiful and...More

Enjoyed the trail, it took us much less time than what others estimated but we equated it to the black flies attacking us. The trail was secluded otherwise.

We hiked here in early June - bugs not too bad at all - terrain can be tricky in spots - it is not hard just lot o roots and rocks sticking out of the ground. Part of the trail was closed due to a...More

I'm only giving this a four due to the fact that we could not complete the entire trail since all the bridges were out. As for the falls that trail does not require any bridges. It was a fairly easy trek up to the falls...More

This is a delightful trail that meanders along the brook and does not disappoint when you arrive at the waterfalls. Very pretty. My only lament is that there are some people who feel it is okay to litter. This is a beautiful natural place so...More

The falls lay at the end of a trail system which can take you several hours to do depending on the path taken. Once there you can enjoy the awe of the falls up close..and if your are adventurous and a bit cautious lol can...More

This is an extremely easy hike, almost completely flat terrain, the only thing that could make this hike difficult is climbing over some rocks at the falls to gain a better vantage point. We did this hike in the pouring rain and still managed to...More

It is an easy walk and best done leisurely. I think that 1.5 hrs. is plenty of time, and allows for stops and taking time to enjoy the falls and other sites along the way.
