My wife and I had just finished playing golf at the Cabot Resort in Inverness. Both courses there we rated excellent. We were very disappointed with Highland Links. The course was not in very good shape, fairways and greens. Also they do not have a...More

I spent a day playing a terrible round of golf on this beautiful course (my game was terrible, not the course). This is a challenging course to play where your ball never seems to have a flat lie which makes every stroke interesting. I lost...More

A Stanley Thompson classic course. Stunning views and great historic golf experience. Don't let the bumpy hilly fairways deter your enjoyment. The course was built by hand! No bulldozers to smooth things out like on today's modern tracks. Step back in time.

We stopped there to rest for a bit and eat. The food was fantastic and the view is just as good! A great place to stop for a little bit.

For scenery, this is a great golf course, with several water view holes. It is rated one of Canada's top courses because of its design. Many of the fairways and a few of the greens needed some work, but to be fair we were there...More

Each hole is amazing and unique. No wonder the top ranking, but with some manicuring would be amazing regardless of location and scenery. Great value and definitely competes with Cabot Links.

Spent the day playing a round of golf at the Highland Links golf course while the wife visited with a friend. What a fantastic golf course. I played after 3:30 pm so the cost was excellent. Met 3 great golfers who were out for the...More

Even living in Cape Breton, I'm still blown away by the incredible landscape of the island. This golf course takes full advantage of the mountains and the sea and of course, the terrain. It ain't easy, but why play anywhere else when you get the...More
