If you are into fishing this little gem is not to be missed. Filled with various displays of antique rods, reels, flies, and all manner of salmon and trout gear. You really get the flavor of salmon fishing on the Margaree.

We stopped in after a great day on the Margaree. The curator was so knowledgeable it was awesome. As we went through all the exhibits, she recalled all the interesting back stories that went along with everything.

Very informative. We also stopped at the salmon hatchery. Great amount of information. We came here to fish and of course check out the margaree river for trout. The margaree river is catch and release for salmon.

Many many interesting items donated by local people who have fished at the Margaree River. Friendly host. Convenient location. $5 per ticket for adult and free for children.

This museum, devoted entirely to salmon fishing, is a delightful stop, just off the Cabot Trail. The admission fee is only $2 and there is a very knowledgeable volunteer staff person to help guide visitors through the exhibits which are all very well executed. I...More
