About
We are a year-round community theatre with 2 performance areas. Our mainstage productions (usually 8/year) are most often aimed at adult audiences, and our upper performance area productions (usually 2/year) are predominantly aimed at families. Our youth theatre camps run through the summer and during March break. We have an art wall for displaying works of local artists.

We enjoyed the performance of Norm Foster’s comedy “Looking” at this comfortable venue with surprisingly good seats. The actors delivered great renditions of four believable singles looking for companionship later in life. Each actor was well-rehearsed and had great timing, facial expressions and body language. We are still laughing!
Upcoming performances can be followed on their website, and requesting tickets was very simple using the contact option. A confirming e-mail was sent out promptly. You pay a modest $12 ticket in cash at the door.
I wish that we lived closer for we would buy season tickets!

My wife and I went here to see Spreading It Around,a play about two elderly neighbors in a Florida retirement complex that decide to give there money to needy people instead of their greedy family.
It was well done and held our attention.
For a small town it is great to have a venue like this.
The price is reasonable and the seating is comfortable.
We have been here before and we will return.
We live in North Kentville and we walked here.

Kentville is very lucky to have such a large and talented group of volunteers who create amazing show after amazing show!
Working hard for 35 years just shows the true dedication that they have to creating these live performances.
The price is beyond reasonable!
It is always recommended to call early and book your seats. The reservation line takes your name and phone number and the number of seats you require. Being a small theatre it fills up fast. You pay for your seats when you arrive and they only accept cash.
Not all plays are suitable for children due to language, but they also do put on plays for children as well.

Saw the Savannah Sipping Society play at Centretage Theatre this weekend. The theatre experience is a bit folksy ,but the play was professionally well done. There is a good variety of entertainment and the plays change every few weeks.
Prices are reasonable, and the actors come to the lobby after the play to meet the theatregoers most of the time. Seats are very comfortable and the acoustics are very good as well. It is a small theater.

Have been here many times and never disappointed. From the welcomes, the lighting and production crews, director, sets and actors everything is so professional. Very enjoyable way to spend an evening!

This is a lovely small town theatre building. The seats are tiered and comfortable, the auditorium is clean and intimate and there is a small lobby. There is parking adjacent to the theatre. The acoustics are very good and there really is no "bad seat" in the house. Sadly the performance that we saw this fall was sadly lacking (A Fine Monster You Are). While a couple of the leads were reasonable, many of the supporting cast were very weak and wooden and simply reciting their lines without any comprehension of their character. It looked more like a Grade 9 drama class than a seasoned community theatre group. I hope it was just this one play. If I'm back next year I'll stop in to see what has improved.

I was so impressed with the play I saw, it was so funny and the actors are wonderful.
I can hardly wait to go back again and see what they will come up with next.

I attend every play, every year and almost every one is absolutely excellent.
The greatest percentage of plays are comedies.
