Amazing

I love this little village and Museum - amazing staff and volunteers, the tea room is lovely, the displays are done so well. Walking distance to everything else downtown.

This is a great little museum - the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they have some great exhibits, including a full blacksmith shop. They seem to be constantly adding to/updating exhibits as well.

I was heading to the entrance of Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum. Once there I was astonished for two reasons: The entrance was completely free and this museum was way bigger than I anticipated. I was impressed. I was invited to eat some cones with tea. What a generous welcome! Inside the museum were two exhibits. The first one... More

Hi, I run a group for Homeschoolers and we set up a tour to go there. A lot of people were unable to come of illness and or being late. They were not angry and proceeded with the tour. It was super lovely and kind ladies. The kids had a blast teaching them lots about the different wars. A definete... More

Great place to visit with kids when visiting port colborne. Free too. Kids will love the boat cabin where they can pretend to drive a huge boat and see how it feels to live on board as well. Our kids didnt want to leave for the rest of the museum. There are also a few other historical buildings with historical... More

Very cute, has a great exhibit of steam engines. It is like a little minature village with a school room and a black smith and info about light houses.

We visited on Canada Day, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The kids explored the various buildings, but were most interested in the boat they could climb into (and which rocks back and forth, as if it were on water). The gift shop is tiny but had some interesting items, and the washrooms are clean. The only "flaw"... More
