I give it to the designers... it really does feel less like a money grab when the retailers have worked to create a fun shopping environment. We wandered in the second day after driving by the first. I was looking for salt and pepper shakers...More

We visited in the evening and it was lovely and quiet. Not sure it would have been so enjoyable if it was busy. Interesting if a bit touristy but found some nice local crafts in the shop.

We were excited to see Avonlea Village as we are big fans of the Anne books. Unfortunately this is just a tourist trap with restaurants and gift shops. Not worth the time.

Definitely avoid this spot if you can. Total tourist trap. Bunch of souvenirs made in China. Not worth it!

We stopped by Avonlea Village on a warm summer afternoon. We enjoyed a beer in the beer garden and then strolled and browsed through the shops.

Amazing coffee and breakfast at Samuels ...and yummy chocolates at Anne's chocolate shop. Always a place to check out when visiting.

Were there for breakfast and had a potato fix later on; good food and not too pricey. Nice shops. Must be really busy later in the day...

I can not say for sure but I don't think we saw any when we were there. It is possible they would be allowed as someone could stay outside with them at all times while others go into the buildings but I would try to call or... More

I am sorry but we did not pay attention to the off road trails by the lodge. However, there is a trail that goes along the ocean and we did see lots of bikers all over. I would maybe suggest contacting the tourist... More
