There is an hour long, interactive presentation in English that was well done! Very informative. It was a little cloudy later so we didn't see much but they told us we could come back the next night, weather permitting, free of charge.

While staying at Le Manoir Richelieu, I was incredibly impressed by two things: the scale model of the solar system on the grounds of the hotel and this Observatoire. Learning about the asteroid impact and the related geology gave me a much better appreciation for...More

For those of us from outside Quebec, summer season lasts at least until the end of August. The CEGEPS in Quebec, however start before the end of August and we arrived here after some of the staff had returned to school. This meant there wasn't...More

Yes, our small buisiness operates on a regular basis only during summer time, since it's a non-profit organisation connected to the local college. We hope to see you again!

We had a nice time there listening to the presentation. Too bad it was cloudy we didn't get chance to watch the Saturn. But the presentation was very good.

My husband and I happened upon this planetarium and even though we were the only ones there for the session, the docent spent the full hour with us and answered all of our questions comprehensively and p9olitely.

I've been to a lot of public scientific destinations such as museums and geological sites. Because my wife is interested in geology, I've been to lots of geological sites. I think the Observatoire de lAstrobleme is the best I've seen in several decades. It's hard...More

We had been very interested in learning more about the unique geology of the Charlevoix region since our first trip there in 2008. The observatoire at La Malbaie is the perfect place to do this! We were very lucky to get the scientific director as...More

As a geologist, this presentation by a very knowledgeable guide was most interesting and factually correct. If you have never seen a meteorite crater or know nothing about them, this is well worth your time.
