Stayed 2 nights with my family. Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Check-in was swift. Booked their best room (jacuzzi suite) which was a disappointment: feels like being in the basement (thus hardly any natural light) and it all feels a little "different"; i.e. it...More

We stayed here for two days. This hotel and resort is really a "must see". The old wooden buildings and the history is amazing. The standard rooms are not big but clean and well equipped. Nevertheless a renovation would be needed - especially for the...More

I loved the fact that this place is dog friendly. Very accommodating. Our pup was in heaven. Lots of trails to roam. Food is expensive and ok. Just ok. At the pool today I heard way too many adults use profanity toward their young children...More

We were on a bus tour and had lunch here. Overall the building is very outdated. It's dark and seemed very gothic. The dining area is lovely and we ate in an enclosed patio like area off the dining room. The tables were elegantly set...More

The resort is on the edge of the village. There's a 1 km pathway within the resort that brings you to the aprox. middle of the village. That's about 15 minutes walking. It's about 1.5 km to go by road.
