We have visited the whales with Malarrimo Eco-Tours for over 15 years. Each visit is better than the last. They provide the best boats and captains. There is always great care taken when the whales are near the boats. This tour is well worth the experience to get to the middle of the Baja peninsula!

My family and I originally had reservations for a different tour company, but they unfortunately canceled on us the night before. LUCKILY for us, we were at Malarrimo's restaurant and they were able to help us out. I had a family of 15 all together and they accommodated us all for the next morning. Our tour guide and captain spoke... More

We did three whale watching trips with Malarrimo Eco-Tours and had amazing experiences. Would definitely recommend this company. Over the three trips we were in two boats with two different drivers. Both drivers were very good; friendly and helpful. The boats were clean and in good working order. We had our kids with us and they found well fitting life... More

Group of 10. We had a bad boat. They were working on it when we arrived, so they knew about it. Wouldn't get up speed to trip out to the whales took twice as long as it should That reduced our viewing time. Their response...."we are so sorry". They didn't care !

We went on 3 whale watching excursions. The captain followed all the rules and regulations specified by the Mexican government to protect the whales. The pangos were very study and held 12 people each. You must take their bus to the dock because access to the lagoon is on private property. The whales were amazing and did approach the boat.... We made reservation in person and paid up front and the shuttle bus was at the hotel promptly as advertised. The local guide that went along on the bus was very knowledgable and told everyone what to expect. However, ,since it is a bit of an ancient shuttle bus it is too noisy to really understand what he told us,so it... After boarding the bus to travel to the launching area of the Pangas, the friendly and knowledgeable guide shared very interesting information about the habits of the whales that come to Guerrero Negro to birth their babies, fascinating and helpful topics about the salt that deposits in G.N. in massive quantities, and much more. The Panga captain was skillful in... More
