Swam with turtles. No need to rent and pay guides. Just go and rent snorkels. Go early morning. Return later in day for great restaurants. Watch hockey at the bakery.

Yes it is. Go early in the day to avoid all the tours for turtle watching to get the best water conditions.

Hello staying in cancun I know they have only just giving licences again can you get transportation from cancun and a tour guide to swim the turtles if so what companies are they allowing to do it? How does it work now since the ban anyone been recently?

They removed the group tours for a bit (this past February), but last I heard there are some groups that are being allowed back in (in April). I apologize, I cannot find the most recent article. I would check with your... More
