Good tour of the Mayan culture, however our tour guide was not informative. First, he seemed like a substitute for the day b/c he wasn't in a professional polo shirt with the company logo like all the other tour guides. Second, I learned little to nothing from him. OTW to coba he was passing out pictures of Mayan ruins that... More

Coba is a must while visiting the Riviera Maya. Our guide was named Arsenio, he was friendly and very knowledgeable. We learned many things about the Mayan people and this ancient civilization from him. We started out by ziplining over a lake. Then we arrived at the ancient village. We were were given a tour of some temples and the... More

Our day began being picked up at the hotel by the Coba Sunset driver and tour guide. There were about 15 other people on this tour. What we didn't know was that to get to the destination we were going to right for about 2.5 hours in the van. The driver was competent and the tour guide nice though, so... More

We couldn't help falling in love with the Mayan people. This tour group is run by family and friends in the village of Coba, near the largest of the ancient ruins. It's in the jungle. Bring insect repellent and sunscreen. We were picked up at our hotel in Playa del Carmen and taken by van to the ruins. Our guide... More

We were looking for a tour that did not take 12-13 hours. We previously have been to Chechen Itza and Tulum but I want to climb the pyramid. We were picked up at 12:20 pm and got back at 8:30 pm. We arrived at Coba and did a zipline over a lake. We then entered a park and rented a... More

Jesus did an excellent job a a guide - really knew his Myan history. The meal was decent but nothing to rave about. Was a small group of less than a dozen so you had a good opportunity to know your fellow tourists.

The van picked us up on time and our guide (Ezequiel) introduced himself, the driver, the itinerary and provided an overview of Maya history. Our group had 9 ppl in total. The van felt comfortable and water was provided for our walk/bike. The path is along a mostly flat path and a good warm up for climbing Nohoch Mul, the... More

Booked this excursion thru Expedia while staying in Playa Del Carmen. The tour leaves around 1PM and returns about 9PM, as the weather is a little cooler in the evening. Also, this tour allows everyone to sleep in and have lunch at our resort before leaving. The excursion includes a zip-line ride, choice of going to a Cenote (cave pool... More

We booked this spur of the moment. The van picked us up promptly and we arrived on schedule. Our tour guide (his nickname was Cricket) gave us a good history lesson and a talk about the schedule during the drive there. We arrived at the Mayan ruins and did about a 30-minute hike stopping at various locations and taking picture.... More
