Excellent exhibition of the coins with very helpful staff to explain their history. Lots of other Exhibits to enjoy together with interesting products in the shop.

We've been to many local museums, most are really dire. This however, was refreshing! Its staff and volunteers have clearly put in much effort to make visits worthwhile and enjoyable! Extremely commendable for a local museum that hasn't an enormous budget like the British Museum.

really interesting little museum,the Victorian cells were good,staff were friendly,told the story of the town which is a lovely place to visit as well.worth a visit if you have children something for everyone

Excellent activities on for the children during the Easter holidays, staff very helpful and assisted even the younger children with great enthusiasm. Also an Easter egg hunt arranged throughout the museum which was fun and also very informative , great place thank you .
