Friendly and informative volunteers made for a great visit. It is a place that I will return. My son loved climbing in and out of the planes and chatting to the staff and asked if we can go back in the future.

Firstly I think that this is a real gem of an attraction, could easily spend 4/5 hours in there if your really into your aircraft and RAF history like me. The old boys who work there are really nice and really knowledgeable. Some good donations and finds are displayed in there. I think this could be improved by making some... More

I've lived in this area for eight years now and stumbled on the museum by chance - it is brilliant! Apart from the quality of the exhibits where else can you sit in the pilot's seats of a Shackleton and a Jet Provost for £2.50 (I get the senior rate). Highly recommended and a much appreciated experience.

This really is a fantastic little museum, with some fascinating exhibits. The Museum started as a historic aviation society researching crash remains from the numerous aircraft that met their end in the eastern part of England. The artefacts that they have recovered, combined with the personal stories of the crews that flew each aircraft, are extremely well presented and thought... More

Lovely, interesting little museum. Full of information. Everyone only too happy to talk us through the exhibits and history. Well worth a visit.I hope they get their lottery funding.

What a terrific place to visit. We were on a visit to the UK for a family Christmas. We contacted the museum from Australia as the place was closed when we were arriving. The gentlemen who run the place were more than happy to open up for us to visit. The time and energy that these men put into the... More

I found this place by accident whilst searching on the internet for things to do in the Wisbech area - I have driven by on many occasions and didn't realise it existed! The entrance doesn't look that promising but don't be put off - the museum is well worth visiting. Many of the displays include wreckage that has been recovered from... More

I had been put off going there because of an advertised entrance fee of £4.50. In fact the entrance fee appears to be £1.50 with a voluntary donation of £3.00. There are sections of real planes to see outside and a bursting at the seams little treasure house of exhibits and detailed notes to go with everything. it is not... More
