We were looking for an interesting outing and Cuckooland matched that requirement, so my husband went ahead and booked a visit. We were welcomed at the agreed time and clocks were set up and ready for our visit and I must say that it makes a huge difference coming to a privately run place compared to other museums and exhibitions.... Searching for help in restoring our Victorian post mans clock we visited Cookooland. From the first moments on entering the grounds of The Old School we realised that this visit would be far more interesting than we had hoped for. We latched on to a guided tour and were both blown away by the enthusiasm as well as the truly... More

We made an appointment to go and see Cuckooland as we have driven past it so many times we thought it was about time we dropped in. This is an important point. Due to the rural location and obvious security challenges that brings, visits have to be pre-booked. We arrived at 1430, full family in tow, expecting to be there... More

My friends were amazed to see this incredible collection of over 700 cuckoo clocks all from the Black Forest! A great day out. Thanks

We went to Cuckooland with no expectations and, in truth, no particular interest in cuckoo clocks, and in the teeth of a couple of negative reviews. We were bowled over. Roman Piekarski and his brother showed us their amazing collection of clocks, no two the same, 700-odd of them and all with a story to tell. These clocks are works... More

We visited the museum and were given a very warm welcome by Roman who was to do our extensive tour. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the clocks is 2nd to none. We had the most amazing visit and didn't stop talking about it to our friends. His Brother was equally knowledgeable and equally welcoming. I would advise anyone to visit... More

We visited Cuckooland after watching a TV programme about the Piekarski brothers and their vast collection of Cuckoo Clocks ! After booking an appointment ( because they have to prepare for visitors and wind some of the clocks ) we were warmly greeted and shown around . This is the 25th anniversary of the museum which houses a vast array... More

We was driving around looking for somewhere to visit and cuckoo land was the nearest place. The name seemed quite friendly, and thought we could pass an hour as my 3 year old was getting bored. We parked up and a man aged 60 plus stood in front of our car and glared at us, we couldn't drive off, as... More
