What a lovely place to visit. The priory was amazing and I am so glad we came here. Such an unusual building, it was stunning. Haven't seen anything like it before. A quick stop over but somewhere I would like to see again.

Cartmel is a fascinating village full of interesting shops and pubs, a beautiful Priory, and a very popular horse race course. It is definitely worth a visit especially on one of the Race Days.
