A very remarkable place for everyone to visit. Even the gorgeous grounds are calming. I tried the 15 minute meditation introduction and it was excellent.

The stay was lovely. I had a twin room in a cottage and it was luxurious, not basic as I expected at a KMC. Meals were lovely as usual. Not having to wash up was an added bonus ha ha! Really enjoyed the course. Genge Kelsang Chodder was very funny with his teaching method and I got used to his... More

My husband & I visited here on our trip to the lakes. How beautiful & serene. There are a few walks available here, one to the beach, others around the gardens. We didn't do this as we had planned other things. We wanted to look around the temple. We took part in a 15 minute relaxation, meditation that they offered.... More

We had an enjoyable group visit on 7th September and took a guided tour and the tea and cream scone. The website then and still now on 19th October shows a price of £5.70 but we were told this was incorrect and the price was £8 per head. Our guide insisted the website would be corrected and we had to... More

Spent a lovely afternoon visiting Conishead Priory and the Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. Arrived with two 90 year olds in who wondered where we were going. Had lunch sitting outside on the terrace, lovely soup and sandwiches and then walked around the garden to the centre. It's a lovely looking building with interesting detailed decoration set in the Priory's old... More

Spent a couple of lovely hours wandering round the grounds and temple. The free meditation session was held in the temple and very relaxing and well led. Followed up by a very well priced lunch in the cafe. Very worth a visit.

Well this was a surprise, just driving past and we saw the sign, called in and not in the least disappointed, so interesting and the inside of the temple was fabulous and so different from anything we had visited before. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go around the grounds and into the main Priory building, but next year when... More
