Whether you are looking for a day visit to the Buddhist Temple, house or grounds, an introduction to Buddhist meditation, or in depth courses and retreats, Manjushri KMC offers an enjoyable and meaningful experience. Daily free 15 minute guided meditations held in the World Peace Temple, everyone welcome. Each day there is a guided meditation at 12.30pm and 2pm.

A FANTASTIC experience with wonderful people all around, from all over the world! The grounds are also fantastic right down to a lovely beach. Lots of places to go for a walk and even Ulverston is walking distance. Clean toilets everywhere. Loved the whole experience...More

Leave your cares behind when you enter the grounds. Lovely place to walk around and dog friendly. nice little tea room with outdoor seating. gift shop, you can also take part in a meditation session if you want to.

Wandering around the grounds and into the temple followed by lunch in the café. Absolutely delightful I always feels so relaxed and soothed when I leave.

I come here every June with a group of friends & it is my favorite place to come. I love the house, the teachings, the food, the beach, the people, everything about this place is so calming & beautiful.

I have taken the wife here a couple of times and we will go back when in the area. If you can't feel safe and in a good place here you need to see a doctor.

Yes dogs are very welcome on the grounds and in the café lounge. However they are not allowed inside the temple or main café.
