This afternoon my friend and I stopped in for a pint. Soon after we had been served by a friendly bar person, we began smelling cigar smoke. We realized that a man at the bar had been outside smoking and had just come back in. The aroma subsided for a while, but before we even finished our beer the same... More

A short walk out of the village but the warm welcome and real fire make it worth the walk. Cold beers and a clean environment

Had a nice hour or so here. It's a nice, traditional English pub. The only down side what the cost of 2 regular drinks at £8.30!

Found this on Trip Advisor a couple of days ago. Popped on today on the off chance. Wasn't disappointed. The lamb shank was tender and proper fresh vegetables too. The fish and chips was a good sized portion with a decent side of minted mushy peas, possibly home made too. Will return if back in the area.
