There is not much of the castle left to see, but some useful information boards and a wonderful place to picnic or just enjoy the view on a sunny day. Couple it with a visit to St Mary's House or the lovely old church.

Went for stroll with friend to see the National Trust site of Bramber Castle and also the old church whch was actually open to look inside, took plenty of photos.

There's a couple of piles of stones and a few information boards. That's it. If you're going there for the atmos of an old castle, avoid sunny days, as you'll spend more time dodging footballs and cricket bats than actually looking at anything. Pleasant enough...More
