These gardens are lovely for the whole family, with lots of areas to explore, different garden areas for those interested in the botanical aspects, places for picnics and for play. We enjoyed a picnic in the rotunda and getting lost in the fern valley.

Just a few minutes from the centre of town and well worth visiting. We spent a couple of hours exploring: a climb up the look out for views over the trees, a walk through green glades, under majestic trees and by spring plantings topped off...More

The gardens here are nice for an afternoon walk, I loved the memorial of the boy with the thorn (prickle) in his foot, very Australian. However I was totally frightened in the Tower, it was steep & by the time I had reached the top...More

Felt really close to the nature, laying down on the grass and looking through the beautiful tall trees was peaceful and satisfying. Beautiful flowers and trees we walked through. A really nice place.

Have a Brunch in this Cafe in Wombat Hill Botanical Garden. The place is very accommodating, homely set up and warm on this wintry day. Food is average but the atmosphere made up to good part of it. Worth a visit for coffee or tea.

It is a small botanical garden and you could ride around it but the area is a hilly place.
