We spent the day in the daintree yesterday and there’s lots to see! We drove ourselves instead of opting for a tour (have done discovery daintree tour many years ago and was great). All businesses in daintree is are self sufficient (using hydro or solar...More

We took a drive from Port Douglas up to Cape Tribulation. The drive itself was great, as you took the road through the rainforest. The day we travelled up was raining, which we found made the rainforest aspect even better. So don't shy away if...More

It truly is one of the Great Wonders of the World. Do not miss the opportunity to spend a few days absorbing yourself in the Daintree Rainforest. So many unusual plants and ferns that you certainly won't see elsewhere. Worth every minute of your time....More

Nice to walk in this forest. Do keep to the path for safety. Best not to swim in the river as per signs.

Beautiful walk around the forest and to the beaches. Spotted a huge monitor lizard and hundreds of the roller crabs and the great beaches.

This national park is just amazing.. it seems to be in Jurassic Park! A unique place where the rainforest meets the reef, it's impressive! We're telling everyone to go there, it's one of the best experiences we've had in Australia.

Interesting to visit the world's oldest rainforest. Would have been better though if we could have seen a casowary.

Hugely over rated. Discovery Centre was a total rip off and a real disappointment. Food was exorbitant never again
