Overview
More
Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours takes you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation. The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103. The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!) There are up to twelve two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

This was my first zip line experience so I have nothing to compare it to, but my girlfriend has done several around the world and she rated this among the best. Far better than one she did in Mexico near Cancun. I had a great...More

Fantastic day out with great knowledgeable guides. Exhilarating activity for all but good mobility is essential; highly recommend this experience.

A very cool idea, you get to see some great views from a different point of view. I also could have sent my grandma to take the standard 200 photos to get the idea though. Not something if you are after an action packed, adrenaline...More

I’d recommend this excursion for anyone up for some adventure and who isn’t afraid of heights. It lasted around two hours or so, including the briefing, gearing-up, walk up to the first platform, etc. The crew seem to be having a good time, and the...More

Thank you for your review. We’re very careful with our marketing material and that we don’t position our tour as an adrenaline activity, as it more about giving people the access to the rainforest canopy with the added fun of ziplining. However we are glad...More

Hi Hayley, the tour picks up from any hotel in Cairns or the Northern Beaches area (Palm Cove etc), or Port Douglas. So there isn't one specific location. If you're not staying at a hotel or resort (eg staying with... More
