One of the best falls around Cooktown. Very secluded of the beaten track. Did a walk up the river to the falls over the bolders, some times sliding on my bottom and came across the falls with a beautiful swimming hole.

Having traveled up the Bloomfield track and a stop at Bloomfield Falls we were ready for our picnic lunch under the sprawling trees of the Bots. A nice walk through the gardens was very refreshing.

Really surprised... well worth the trip, we did the trip by 2WD but a 4WD would be best.. The falls are really nice with a beautiful rock pool... easy walk from the parking area...

Amazing waterfall hidden amongst the rainforest. Short steep walk up to the falls. Nice swimming hole beneath the falls. Turn at Mt Amos Rd, follow the signs. Road is a bit rough but stick with it, it's worth the drive.

This area is well hidden. We found these falls by default while driving to Mt Amos. Beautiful swimming hole at the base of the falls.

It's pretty hard to get to you Will need a 4 wheel drive but it is worth the trip. The falls you can swim in and the temperature was great even in the middle of winter, follow the pink ribbons and you'll be fine

Yes, the place is hard to find. And yes, it requires a 4WD and a bit of a hike. But because of the above, more often than not, you will find this magnificent place all to yourself. Heaps of wildlife e.g frilled neck lizards, spotted...More

Absolutely amazing. There were no signs to show the name or distance along the way here. Just a sign pointing to falls. Drive from sign is only 2klm park and walk down rocky footpath just 50m. Roaring falls and so picturesque!
