Bordering the shores of Lake Macdonald, these lovely gardens are perfect for strolling, exercising or perhaps a picnic. There are many pathways to follow with different vistas and flora to enjoy. Perhaps the only negative was that quite a few of the name plates on the plants/trees were aging and in disrepair. However the variety of flora was a very... More

The Noosa Botanic Gardens, makes up happy, the grounds are kept very well, and we love the peace and quiet. It's our little escape for just nature and time out. Love it.!

Such a hidden treasure. In holiday season it is virtually impossible to get a park to take the kids too that isn't overcrowded. The botanic gardens offers a really pretty spot to take the kids. Ample area to play on the grass, Ducks to feed, and beautiful gardens to wander through. We have taken our kids drawing books and pencils... More

What a lovely location by the lake. Great for a picnic & or stroll. However, the whole place is very untidy, gardens in need of a lot of care. The only thing the council maintains are the lawns. Pathways littered with debris, weeds in the garden, plants identified with hand written weather beaten tags. Come on Noosa Council, get your... More

It was over 34 degrees with not a breath of wind but despite these arduous conditions the gardens were still well worth the visit. It's great to see parks like this where they take the time to label the notable trees and plants. A lovely setting beside Lake McDonald and with over 26 acres there is plenty of things to... More

Can't believe we've never been here before! Gorgeous location beside Lake McDonald. Took us 2 hrs to stroll through quite expansive gardens. Shame only 2 full time employees maintain gardens and the rest is obviously the work of an army? of volunteers. What a fabulous job they do as custodians of this beautiful spot.

A Little Gem in the Noosa Shire. Take your time to stroll through this largely volunteer created garden. Peaceful and fun.

A little drive from Noosa itself, closer to Cooroy than Noosa, but worth a diversion if you are spending a few days - peaceful , solitude, beautiful gardens and a great place to escape the growing numbers in Hastings Street. Good for relaxing, picnics, walks
