Didn't actually know this was here, we were looking for caravan park. Pretty amazing to stumble on, pulled up for lunch near the spillway.

Easy to get to from Emerald and well worth the visit. We had a picnic breakfast overlooking lake Maraboon which is low on water atm. It's a little untidy (long grass) around the picnic area, but the view and the serenity made up for it....More

Was impressed with the whole Dam/Lake experience. Took some good snaps of the dam. Definitely a must visit if you are passing through Emerald.

Dam ism currently being cleaned and safety checked for the huge water events they get in the area. No water in dam but still some in Lake although it looks very low. Nice spot for a picnic or fishing if you have a boat

Very easy to get to and really pretty, great place to go for a picnic. It looks like a great fishing spot and they fill the dam with new fish all the time.

Well worth a look, if you are in the area! The road into the dam, off the main Hwy, is sealed, so it is easy to reach & NO Hire car issues.

Great place to spend the day with family or as a group. Shelters, BBQ's and picnic tables along with the associated toilets facilitate great recreation for tourists and locals alike. Water skiing, boating and fishing are very popular. At this time there is a momentous...More

As many as you can catch within the trap limit. Just check with a local as I don't eat them, but I thought it was 10 traps.
