Over 2000 butterflies (and a few moths as well ) are flying around this most interesting exhibit. Guided tours are frequent and most instructive. Everything from caterpillar to butterfly to life span and visual acuity is covered well . Highly recommended

We booked the wildlife package off the Kuranda railway and weren't disappointed. The butterfly sanctuary was beautiful with a large number of butterfly's flitting around. Being able to see the stages of the butterfly's life was quite interesting too.

The butterfly sanctuary at Kuranda is a must see, so many varieties and colours! We were lucky to time our visit with a guided tour, which was very informative and interesting. Well worth waiting for if you can!
