Tasty sweets

Small sized shop however the candies comes in many different flavours. We bought only one medium size jar but wished we bought more as it finished a few days later.

The colours and scents of sugar will have your mouth watering. Slip in to see the sweets being churned out of the machine in strings of beads which with a slight shake separate into glowing beads of delicious flavour. Watch the toffee being worked taste test some of the different varieties. Toffee apple flavours reminded me of childhood and Christmas... More

A great place to visit while in Kuranda. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and don't forget to try some while you're there.

Difficult to find car parking near by but Candy Kitchen is located on Main Street. Plenty of candy selection to pick from on the shelf and purchase but take plenty of CA$H as there is no eftpos available.

Very yummy candy and awesome watching them make the rock candy. Not the cheapest rock candy store but you can get some great deals on the offcuts

I recently visited Kuranda Candy Kitchen with my best friend, and we were instantly drawn in from the smell that wafted down the main street! Unfortunately the time that we walked in was also a very busy period, so moving around was a bit difficult but their service and the selection was well worth it! Upon tasting the candy, I... More

We visited here for the first time last year, and dropped in again on this visit. The making process was not in action this time, but the same delicious goodies were still on offer. Friendly staff, and lovely sweets make it a place to visit if you are in Kuranda. Hope that they are making the sweets when you visit,... More

Love this place because it is only one of a very few lolly shops that actually sells good old fashioned boiled lollies. If you get your timing right you can even look at the sweets being make which is really great to watch because they are made with little designs in the rolled toffee (at other times you can just... This lolly shop is great, smells good & looks a treat with all the brightly coloured, different flavoured lollies on display. You can watch the ladies hand making them rolling & rolling & rolling until they are the right size, then sliced into small pieces & bagged ready for sale. They also pass around pieces to sample while it's still... More

We found this candy shop 5 years ago on our last trip here, on our visit to Kuranda today we headed straight for it. Love the shop, it's candy, and staff! Hope they bring back the chilli candy. Bought some gifts to take back home. Don't miss this little store, pop in, give them a well deserved happy hello and... More
