This place is a must see. And there tones of picnic tables to eat at. We found the paths easy to walk and plenty of signage

A very popular picnic spot with good facilities. A nice big car park, plenty of tables and chairs and a nice open lawn for the kids. There's a short track around the outside of the picnic area with a chance of a few wallabies and birds. Or you can take one of the longer walks through the rainforest. A pretty... More

To have a piece of land that is untouched and has been preserved is rare, and we have it at Mary Cairncross Reserve. An easy walk for all ages and the chance to see paddymelons. Unfortunately, the entrance has lost its previous charm and a first rate cafe, and is being replaced, as I write, with a larger building that... More

A lovely mix of flora and fauna, a must for nature lovers. We encountered numerous birds, pademelons and native trees. There was minimal to no disturbance heard from nearby construction work.

this is a great place to take visitors to the sunshine coast, the gold coin donation will allow you to walk around the beautiful forest, where you can see lots of native flora and fauna. We even found trap door spiders, which was awesome!

Our 3rd visit - Dec 2016 and a new visitor centre is being built but the park itself is open. Enjoyed our walk through it lots - we saw pademelons, scrub-wrens, flying foxes, & a eastern yellow robin. Cool in the park on a hot humid day...some midgees but you expect that. We let other people go by us, then... More

We love The Terrace Seafood Restaurant. Pauline and Craig are the best at what they do. The food is always fresh and well presented. Staff are very attentive and most have worked there for years. We went on New Years Day for lunch and had a Seafood Banquet which offered a fantastic and tasty variety of generous proportion. It was... More

We were lucky enough to see 2 paddymelons and a tree snake try to catch a lizard. The reserve itself is a lovely walk

Lovely place to visit alone or with family. Very peaceful and relaxing walk. You get to see lots of wildlife if you pay attention and are patient to look through the trees and grass. Lots of birds, and some awesome large trees. Entry for a gold coin donation.

Cool even on a hot day! It was well worth the gold coin donation. A great place to burn off a big breakfast.
