A spectacular waterfall that feeds a good sized freshwater pool that was safe to swim and enjoyed by all the family. Get there early to guarantee parking and a spot, it gets seriously busy later in the day. Take a picnic, no other facilities here....More

Very nice place to visit but very popular if you are looking for quiet it won't suit. Toilet is available which is great.

Beautiful spot. Can be busy on weekends. Fresh water swimming. 15 min drive from Airlie beach. Waterfall and swimming hole.

This location is at its best when the waterfall is flowing - so ask a local if its the right time to go as its a bit of a journey to head out there if there's no water.... & if it is flowing a 4WD...More

What a beautuful place to visit. Falls were in full flow when we were there...the drive there was beautiful in its ruggedness. ...take a dip in the swim pool...water was warm which surprised us....fabulous spot for photos.

No they are not as it is a national park .. wild life/ Eco systems etc

Same as everyone else, look for the sign to turn right on the road from Proserpine to Airlie. It takes a while from the turn off and from memory you turn left after. I'm googling it and their map seems to have Cedar Creek... More

I will be visiting family in Bowen as of 3rd October. Would love to check out the falls. Have you had much rain lately? and are there any other fresh water billabongs and/or bushwalks in the area?
