What a gem of a museum, this has been put together by someone with a lot of passion. One of the pluses is the actual fossils are on display instead of replicas. The fossils are very diverse covering land dinosaurs & marine reptiles, ammonites, turtles.

Visited while on the Qld Dinosaur Trail in June. Fossils were presented in an interesting way with the bones laid out as they would have been found and a model of the marine animal hanging over the top. This really helped with understanding the fossils....More

We started with a "Digging at Dusk" tour and are hooked. Michelle, the centres' curator was wonderful and so helpful at the dig site. And the staff at the centre were great also. We will definitely make this destination a regular for us.

Visiting many museums you are usually confronted by replica fossils often reconstructed to represent the actual animal. This is not the case at Kronosaurus Korner. 99% of the fossils on display are genuine fossils and they are magnificently presented. The museum entry fee includes an...More

We found the Ammonite Inn motel was a good place to base our Richmond activities from. It also has a restaurant which serves up excellent meals. The managers were very friendly and helpful when we stayed there.
