Hi Koomika, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit to Samuel's Gorge. Our view over the Onkaparinga River National Park is pretty special and something that we never tire of. Did you notice the old pig pens that lay just over the wall? Thanks again for visiting our cellar door and we look forward to seeing you... More

Would be a good place to go with a group of friends. For a couple probably a miss. Friendly service, but no personal touch and no conversation about the tastings or variety. Wine is certainly over priced for what is offered.

Hi Robert, Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to our cellar door. It is disappointing to hear that your experience lacked a personal touch. This is generally something that we pride ourselves on and one of the reasons why we do not accept large groups. Sadly it seems we missed the mark on this occasion. If you... More

Loved the casual atmosphere at this winery. The staff are so unpretentious and did the tastings in a most casual way. Their wine is delicious. Really enjoyed our visit and the view is awesome too

Beautiful location, great wines, worthy of the recommendation by a colleague. Loved that it was small, personal and completed focused on red wines!

There were 4 wines offered for tasting when we visited late September '16...all outstanding. Grenache, Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Shiraz...all as good as anything we tasted at 21 other wineries in McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. Great location mear the Gorge too. Don't miss this one! Don, Perth

Samuel's Gorge is my first stop on any wine trip to the McLaren. Any time friends or family visit from other states this is top of the list of places to go. Not only is the wine exceptional but it's the setting of this small rustic cellar door that keeps me coming back time after time. Beautiful views of the... More

Perched on a hill, this cellar door has a beautiful vantage over a valley. There was a cosy fire inside although it was sunny so we had our tasting outside. Very tasty wines, loved the Shiraz.

This little gem in hidden behind another winery and is well worth seeking out. Their Tempranillo is a high calibre red and a must if seeking a take home bottle or two. Sarah, one of their great team, is only too willing to explain the wine and assist with any queries.

I love this place. Perched on the hills overlooking the Onkaparinga Valley is a rustic cellar door full of historical knick knacks to spark conversation. It's beautiful in Summer where you can sit on the grass with a picnic (you need to take you own food) under the shade of an umbrella, watching the kiddies run around or play with... More
