Not just for people of the Jewish faith but for those interested in the history of east side Cleveland. The museum also does compelling exhibits that have included the Dead Sea Scrolls and quilts from the Holocast.

The museum is wonderful! Great permanent displays. It is obvious that Cleveland has had a rich Jewish history. The Jews who came at the turn of the century helped build the city and its culture.

There are many places to see foreign or independent films in Cleveland, but don't forget that many of the museums in the area show films as well. We saw "Freedom Summer" (part of the "American Experience" series) at the Maltz Museum. An intimate viewing space, the big screen and good sound system provide a fitting way to view such important... Maltz was a terrific visit for Cleveland Jewish history. There was also a temporary exhibit of US civil rights photography. Thoroughly enjoyed & re omens.

This museum not only can give you an insight on Judaism, but has special exhibits. Also, a wonderful exhibit on the holocaut.

A great way to spend a weekend afternoon. There are a lot of different exhibits. I thought it would be bigger on the inside but interesting overall.

This museum is quite different from the other Jewish museums I have seen. It includes the obligatory depictions of the holocaust and of Jewish life through the millennia but it focuses on the Jewish experience in America with a particular emphasis on the Jews of Cleveland. Accordingly, it featured a lot of information with which I was not familiar. There... More

I had to write a paper for school about ethnic diversity and found this museum about 30 minutes away from where I live to help me research the Jewish lifestyle and faith. I learned so much during my visit that my paper was very enjoyable to write and I have so much more understanding of the Jewish Heritage in my... More

This is really one of the best Jewish museums in the world, and I've been to many. They had an intense and comprehensive exhibit on the capture of Adolph Eichmann, the Nazi who carried out the mass extermination of six million Jews during World War II. I didn't realize how much work went into capturing the fugitive hiding out in... More

We went to see a special exhibit about the capture if Adolf Eichmann which was very well done. While there my 17 year old grandson was fascinated by the museum and when he saw Superman in one of the exhibits I had to take him to the Superman museum the next day
