Spent a few days there this spring in the off season and loved it. Saw a beautiful warm forecast and planned an impromptu visit. She seemed to be our server every time we were there... More

My family spent a day at Salt Fork. We rented a fishing boat and spent the morning catching fish. My 7-year-old grandson caught more than anyone and was really happy. We spent the afternoon riding jet ski boats and discovered how amazingly fast and exciting they are. The folks at the marina were very friendly and helpful and made our... More

We rented a cabin for a night for 6 for my bachelorette party in September of 2016. The hiking was great and the lakeside cabin was better than we thought it would be! Very peaceful and beautiful. A great little gem in Ohio.

This was our second visit to Salt Fork State Park. Both times we stayed in the lodge. The lodge staff was very attentive. My main goal was to hit the hiking trails, because the time the year we had the trail just for us, we did hiking with snow in the ground and the next day we had mud. But... More

This is a gorgeous park with a lovely main lodge and a cafe that serves good and reasonably priced food. The lodge is several miles from the main road, and the drive back is beautiful

We stayed here for Thanksgiving, and did some hiking. The park is huge, so be prepared for that--one thing may not be close to another. The cabins are great, comfy and cozy with views of the lake. There are some beautiful hiking trails and do not miss the stone house. It is a short hike and very interesting and beautiful.... More
