It's a WONDERFUL little museum, full of neat & authentic artifacts of Ted Lewis' career. My all time favorite is the end of the tour when you get to watch some of his movie clips.

If you like old movies and the talent that goes with them, this museum is great. They have their own movie theatre, in a very interesting old building. Worth a look-see.

I recently toured there with a family reunion group. I remember seeing Ted Lewis on television and once when I was very young, he was the Grand Marshall of the Pumpkin Show Parade.

It is interesting to not only see some of the Ted Lewis items but also how the building is built. It is one of the only buildings remaining that was in the "circle" before the town was squared.

While I am not of the vaudeville/early 40's era I do enjoy the music and entertainers of that time. The Ted Lewis Museum is a labor of love for its curator Joseph Rubin, who, as young man in his late twenties has been able to...More
