This is a great place especially for those of us that grew up in Cleveland. There is a great amount of local history and tradition in these walls. It may be the last place we will be able to see Chief Wahoo.

This museum is surprisingly good for its size. The carousel is fun, the airplanes and cars are fascinating, there's always an exhibit worth seeing and the Hay-McKinney mansion is filled with fascinating rooms. Definitely worth an afternoon.More

As I grew up in the Cleveland area, a visit to the Historical Society was a trip down Memory Lane for me. Lots of memorabilia from Cleveland, lots of history, nice displays.

A quick tour if the museum isn’t busy could be completed in an hour - it just depends on how interested you are in old cars, old planes, and historic residences. The carousel is not a long ride.
