I've been to a variety of dramatic and musical productions at the Allen Theatre over the last few years. Although I may prefer some to others, all have been enjoyable. I like to sit in the balcony and prefer the front row up there as I'm short and that way I have a great view of the stage. Some performances... More

The building inside decor was quite amazing. Has a very amazing back story. We watched Freaky Friday. The performance is definitely Broadway level. In fact, the largest performing arts outside of Broadway.

We've attended many performances at the Allen Theatre over the last few years. Since I am short, I've found that sitting in the balcony provides me with the best view. I also like the view from there as you can see the entire stage easily. If you've never been in the Allen, you'll wonder if it's undergoing construction as you... More

Very intimate feel. The decor made the ambience special. Was there for a jazz concert and my wife and I felt very connected to the artist.

When I heard that the Allen Theatre was made into three smaller theatres I did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's intimate but with all the amenities and comfort of larger theatres. Stand under the cupola just before the main lobby and you'll hear the echo of your voice. While you do that, take some... We saw this play as part of the Broadway series. This is the first time we have been to the Allen theater. The theater was intimate and comfortable. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming. This was a great experience.

We saw Steel Magnolias and were extremely impressed by this theatre. Beautiful entrance, nice room just outside the stage for gathering pre-show or at intermission. The theatre itself is very nice looking snd I loved the layout. Doesn't really appear to be a bad seat. Acoustics were great as well. Very friendly staff.

You will not be disappointed when you come in to the Allen theatre. The views from any seat are simply amazing and certainly love the decorations in the theatre. There are a lot of accessible bathrooms around and staff is quite friendly. In addition, it is certainly close to many restaurants and places to see prior to the event.

The Allen is beautiful and not too large. This allows every seat a great view of the stage. Restrooms are not too crowded. Concessions were also plentiful with short lines. This is an enjoyable venue. I had luck in parking in a lot across from the theaters with only quick walk across the street to the front door. This worked... More

Tyler Perry's play was excellent. There was a very rude woman next to us who kept talking throughout the play. The seating was originally built for short people. Get an aisle seat if you have long legs. Beautiful building. Nice staff.
