There are actually two buildings comprising the public library. There was an exhibit of Superman which I found to be informative. The older building is beautiful and a great place for a library.

The original building is beautiful and the garden area is a cool resting spot. The new wing is a most interesting addition.

Absolutely beautiful grand building. You could easily spend an hour checking out architecture and special collections. They have a great WPA mural on the 3rd floor.

Third largest public library in the US after NYC and Boston. Well worth a look for the history in the building. If you are lucky enough to meet Bill inside the front door, you will give this visit 5 stars!

The sculpures name is Tom Otterness. The statues are depicting tiny library patrons. Some are carrying books, reading, climbing, or carrying letters. They are awfully cute and inviting to library visitors young and old alike.
