Best to start from north end at Worthington Hills. Ample parking at trail head, east side of Olentangy River Road, which route 315 spills into. This bike path is continuous until after the Park of Roses when it used city streets for five minutes before...More

We picked up the Olentangy Bike Path near OSU and went for a few miles. It was summer so there are areas in the sun that gets pretty warm, but there are also lots of shaded parts. We packed a picnic lunch and ate by...More

If you live along the Olentangy trail and work anywhere from downtown to Worthington, you have a super easy way to still bike to work and avoid biking on high car traffic routes, like High Street. Not only is it a super easy trail to...More

This beautiful trail is, indeed, used by all groups of people: bikers, walkers, roller blades and couples out walking hand in hand. If riding your bike you need to be careful around turns as there are MANY people walking side-by-side-----3 to 4 people side-by-side! Lots...More

Love love love this bike path. While it's called a bike path, it should be called an all purpose path. There's everyone from walkers, runners, people on their bikes, walking dogs, with kids, everyone uses this path! There is a ton of great scenery and...More

While the path is rather long, it is heavily used by cyclists, walkers, roller bladers, runners, walkers and many people with strollers &/or pets at anytime during daylight hours. If you're seeking a leisurely bike ride and don't mind being patient with all the activity...More

While it is called a bike path, it is used by everybody. Strollers. Dog walkers. Kids running and not paying attention. Walkers 3-4 across so nobody can pass. Don't get me wrong. The path can be used by many, but everybody needs to follow the...More

It's easy to be distracted by all the sights along the Olentangy while you're trying to get your miles done. Some of the areas once downtown are better reserved for casual riding and not higher speeds or high intensity training. The hills and inclines are...More

Columbus (and the suburbs) isn't always the best place for biking - lots of places don't have safe bike lanes. The path is great though, so nice to have a safe and scenic way to get around if you don't want to go by car.

Don't know how long this has been here, but the path is great. Totally enjoyed walking on the path next to the river. Saw dams, geese, ducks, people fishing, wetlands, and conservatory areas. Had a great time.
