Goodale Park is a very large park located near downtown Columbus. It hosts ComFest every year which is a 3 day community festival with music, great food and a huge bazaar. Always fun to go people watching and rock out with some great local bands.
Our little group decided to check out Goodale Park on a recent familial visit to Columbus. Very pleasantly surprised. Heavy grass and beautiful trees in one of the oldest parks in the US. Nice pond with turtles, fish etc. Spurred my imagination of what early...More
Goodale is a nice park for the part of this part of the country, but the real advantage is the festivals. Especially comfest, where you really get to see all the different people living in a city of bubble neighborhoods.
The park, quite large, is just off High Street in downtown. Plenty of walking paths, a pond, trees... A nice place to relax and unwind.
Tons of ducks in the pond. And believe it or not, three or four very rare white squirrels, back near...More
Nice little complement to the hustle bustle eating/shopping of the adjacent Short North. We parked here at the meters ($1 in quarters for 90 minutes I think) and walked 1 block east on Russell to High and north 1/2 a block to Brassica. Nice little...More

This is a good option if you are near the area and you need a spot to let some kids run around and be kids. There are two good play areas with a covered pavilion nearby. We got some food from the North Market nearby...More
Great place for morning walk. So many beautiful Victorians surround the park, and it had plenty of walking paths and benches. Cute pond with elephant fountain, but it wasn't working. Very clean, felt safe in the morning- lots of dog walking and picture taking.
You may park in the park in one of the spaces by the recreation center. You can't get much closer than that. If the lot is full you are allowed to parallel park on Park Street along the east edge of the park or in a space on... More
You may park in the park in one of the spaces by the recreation center. You can't get much closer than that. If the lot is full you are allowed to parallel park on Park Street along the east edge of the park or in a space on GoodaleStreet which forms the southern boundary of the park. Enjoy your visit!
