The residents of German Village are fortunate to have this in their neighborhood. And it is a well-used neighborhood park. It's usually filled with joggers, young families walking around the pond and people and their dogs getting in some exercise. Considering how close it is to downtown Columbus, this is a remarkably peaceful oasis from the urban scene that surrounds... More

The scenery is amazing, nice for walks around the park. There is play area for kids also tennis courts too. Favorite part is the theater shows that play on the weekends in the summer.

I walked around the park watching people walk their dogs or having a picnic. This is truly a family park. I didn't make over the building but I did see tennis courts.

They have great plays during the summer. You bring your own food, drink, chair or blanket and enjoy. They also have a small concession stand or you can order takeout from several restaurants in the area that are within walking distance. It is free...they do pass the hat for donations but no pressure to give. A really good time for... More

A nice little park to relax, walk the pooch, exercise and people watch if you live in German Village.

Shakespeare in the Park runs 8pm every Thursday-Sunday during the summer. I have seen numerous plays with family and friends and we've never been disappointed. Bring a blanket, snacks and bottle of vino to enjoy as you watch the local theater put on a great classic!

I love this park and go here often. Tennis courts are usually available, and there is a small hill for kids to sled down in winter. Summer has Shakespeare in the Park, which is perfect for a free picnic-like outing with friends or a date. (BYOB!) Also a great place to walk your dog or go running around the perimeter.

This is one of my favorite places to go. It's within walking distance of a lot of cute places in German Village. They put on plays during the summer, too! It's a great place to go to read a book or have a picnic. (I recommend taking some extra bread to feed the ducks!) It's free and great for people... More

My husband and I happened upon this park by chance one day while driving around seeing some sights before leaving town, and decided to get out and walk. Lovely, serene, surrounded by gorgeous homes. Definitely worth a quick stop if you need a place to stretch your legs or relax.
